Coming across this photo on Pinterest made me think of using foil as an option for my low tech prosthetics look. In this image the use of metallics has made quite an effect in changing the body from looking normal to something alien. The model looks quite statue and stiff like now that she is gold and foil looks like the real skin underneath rather than looking like it's on top of the skin.
