In the film 'Maleficent' 2014, Angelina Jolie stars as the title character. Her makeup as maleficent involves gel-filled cheekbone highlights placed onto her actual cheekbones. Everyday it took 4 hours for the makeup artists to finish her look when the film was being made. It's amazing to one simple feature change has made her look so striking and really brought the character of Maleficent more alive than ever. If her cheekbones hadn't been altered she wouldn't look as striking and sharp. I also think the fact that her cheekbones look sharp can relate back to Maleficent because they could represent how dangerous she is. I quite like the way the outline of her horns follow down and into her cheekbones as if they are connected.
