When I experimented with chickpeas and Fuller's Earth to make texture on the skin, it reminded me of the textures of coral because the result looked quite bumpy. I think the images above show a variety of different textures that coral has. I chose this two images to research as they have one colour with many tones to it which is how my design should look - skin tone colour. I can also relate this back to creating a design by using this type of texture in my design. I can still keep the design anthropological as well if I make a pattern that looks tribal.
